July 25, 2025 at age 93. Predeceased by her husband, Marko Amidzic. She is survived by her loving children, Maria (Thomas) Rotolo, Ivan Johnny Amidzic; her grandchildren, Shannon (Tyler Smith-Strutz) Rotolo, Shawn Rotolo; great-granddaughter, Ivy Rose; many dear friends.
Margita was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Margita loved helping others, she was giving, welcoming and took great care of her son. She helped those who needed translating and enjoyed time with them. Above all, Margita loved her family, especially spending quality time with her grandchildren and great-granddaughter. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Margita’s visitation will he held Thursday, August 7th 4 PM -7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, August 8th 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral 296 Flower City Park. Entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
We loved having Margita here at St. Ann’s. I am especially in awe of the wonderful care she was given by her daughter and son-in-law Maria and Tom. Thank you for being so good to her, as she was undoubtedly so good to you. You bore a powerful witness to the importance of family.
