Gates – On Sunday, May 4th, 2025, at the age of 97, Andrew Blanda went home to be with his beloved wife, Rosalie Blanda and daughter, Patricia Reardon.
He is survived by his daughters, Joann Blanda and Cheryl Brongo; his grandchildren, Andrew (Tessa) Reardon, Caylea Reardon, Melissa (Matthew) Brongo, and Britney (Kevin) Herrick; and his great-grandchildren, Sebastian Reardon, Justin Maier, Matthew Wood, Mabel Wood, Ellie Herrick, and Haddie Herrick.
Andrew worked for Davenport Machine and was a United States Army veteran. He was a proud Sicilian American, a devoted family man, and a jazz drummer. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday (May 12th) at 11:00 AM at the Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Road. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
Very sorry to hear about Andrew’s passing. It was always a pleasure to see him at family gatherings.
