November 7, 1942 – April 23, 2025, With heavy hearts we celebrate a life well lived and the passing of our dear beloved. He is predeceased by his granddaughter, Sydney Edgecombe. Ted is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Patricia Edgecombe. He leaves behind his sons, Todd (Stacy) Edgecombe and Toby (Jennifer) Edgecombe; his grandchildren, Chase, Smyth, Connor and Andrew; his brothers, Gary (Terry) Edgecombe and Wayne (Sherri) Edgecombe; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Ted was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He owned a well-known excavation company in Rochester, NY and was well respected for his hard work ethics. Ted had a heart of gold and will be missed by his family, friends and colleagues.
Friends may call Friday (May 9th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. His Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday (May 10th) 9:30 AM at Sacred Heart Cathedral, 296 Flower City Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in his memory.

How I will always remember Ted he was a no nonsense, hard working man and his equipment was always clean which amazed me because of the kind of work he did.
My heart breaks for you and your Family and especially for you after 54 years together just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
Best brother in law ever!! I will miss his sense of humor and his kindness! He is resting in the arms of Jesus – peaceful and pain free. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time as you grieve your loss. May your memories comfort you now and in the days ahead. Love you all.
