Hilton: Robert Elliott Snyder went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 9, 2025. He is predeceased by his father, Elliott Snyder; mother, Wanda Winney Snyder; sister, Darlene Snyder. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Elizabeth (Sexstone) Snyder; devoted children, Cory Robert Snyder and Robyn Arline Snyder (Nabile) Besile; grandchildren, Marissa and Marsyah Besile; Nancy (Frank) Mack, Kathy Babbitt, Dale (Marie) Snyder and Tim (Elizabeth) Snyder; many dear friends.
Bob retired from Alstom Signaling. He was a member of First Bible Baptist Church and Parma Historical Society. In his spare time, he enjoyed bible study, metal detecting and fishing. He also enjoyed taking pictures of God’s creation.
Bob’s Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday (April 15th) 10:00 AM at First Bible Baptist Church, 990 Manitou Road. His graveside service will be held at a later date in Transit Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Bible Baptist Church 990 Manitou Road, Hilton, NY 14468 in his memory.

I first met Bob & Cory at the Danforth Community Center throwing horseshoes. Both were great shooters and gentlemen. I am so sorry hearing of Bob’s passing. My deepest sympathy to your entire family.

Diane and family, Bobby was an amazing friend to David over the years. I’m thinking of you all now and in the future. I will not be back in NY for his service but will be there in thoughts and prayers. Iike to think the 2 of them are finding some trouble together now.
Bob was a great friend and co-worker. We worked shoulder to shoulder for most of our 40+ years at General Railway Signal and then Alstom Signaling. He will be missed
Bob was a quiet, respected and fair human being. Anita and I knew Bob as a great friend and coworker since 1973. He was always fair to all coworkers and was very respected by everyone he knew. One of the most organized people I have ever known. He continued his General Railway Signal/Alstom connections by leading a large group of retirees for several years. This was well beyond the “call of duty” but he was dilligent as always and it was Greatly, Greatly appreciated! I know ALL the retirees missed Bob, when he could not attend meetings as President! Anita and I are hoping to be members of his “all-time” retirement organization in the hereafter. Until then he is truly missed!

Deepest sympathy on the loss of Bobby. I’ll always remember those family summer picnics at the Snyder farm. May the Lord ease your sorrow.
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss. As his parents were part of the 5 close friends group I was able to spend time with Bobby as well as the “Snyder” family. Can’t forget the memories and time spent on the pickle field. We helped him hoe and pick and it never ended (Dave Bloom) and I. Miss you my friend. Pete Johnson
