Joan G. Fleming Greece: Thursday, March 28, 2024. Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Nicoline Gowdy; husband, James J. Fleming; Survived by her sons, Todd (Dianna) and Stephen (Elizabeth) Fleming; grandchildren, Hannah, Tyler and Alice; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was an Executive Secretary at Xerox and Medical Secretary at Strong Memorial Hospital. Joan was a proud member of the Irondequoit Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution and strong supporter of the Boy Scouts of America. Friends may call Thursday (April 4th) 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich and Meeson, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday (April 5th) 10:30 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, Greece. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church in her memory.
Rest In Peace Joan. You will be missed. Go find Andy, Nettie and Lavonya and play one heck of a game of euchre. Love you all and miss you all. See you when I get there.

What a beautiful person, Joan, was! She was such a kind person. She was generous to St. John’s and caring to all those she met.Family was so important to her. She always made sure their Christmas wishes came true. I first met Joan in choir and then became friends forever. I shall greatly miss her!
