Rochester: September 18, 2012 at age 90. Known as 'Aunt Rose' by most everyone whom she met. Rose passed with her nephew by her side. Predeceased by her loving husband, Robert J. Prentice. She is survived by her housemate and nephew, Ron Collins, great-nephews and caregivers, Todd Collins & Bill Thomas; God-daughters/nieces, Wendy Ewin & Debbie Clickner; dear nephews, David & Tom Horsey and their wives, Patty & Ginny. Rose is also predeceased by her very dear and inseparable sisters, Carolyn Schulz & Katherine Collins; sister, Margaret Horsey; brothers, Al, Jack & Eddie Schulz. She also left behind several generations of nieces, nephews and many friends. Rose worked at, and was, the smiling face behind the counter at Cramer's Pharmacy and Fays/Eckerd's Drug stores for over five decades. She retired when she was in her early 80s. Rose loved bowling, needle-crafts, living on the shores of Lake Ontario and her beloved Bichon, Kasper. Rose's visitation will be held Sunday, September 30th, 1-4 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, Greece Chapel, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Memorial Service will be held, following visitation at 4 P.M. in the Funeral Home Chapel. Her Graveside Service will be held Monday, October 1st, 10 A.M. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (please meet the family at the Dewey Avenue gate of the cemetery).
