Greece: October 22, 2009 at age 82. Predeceased by her husband of 41 years, Gerald G. O’Brien. She is survived by her sister, Pauline Trickler Ryan; brother, David M. (Bea) Trickler; nieces and nephew, Shelia Ryan, Christine (Joe) McPherson & Michael (Janice Stevens) Trickler; great niece and great-nephews; Kyle, Rhianna & Justin McPherson & Josh Monday; many dear friends. Patricia was life member of St. Charles Borromeo Church and graduated from Nazareth Academy. She retired from the Town of Greece after over 34 years of service. Patricia was also a life member of the Barnard Fire department, ladies auxiliary; charter member of the State of New York Fire Department, ladies auxiliary; member of Monroe County Fire department, ladies auxiliary; charter member of FANCY, ladies auxiliary; a life member of Beta Sigma Phi; leader of the Women’s Republican Club, District 7; a member of Canaseraga Lioness Club and a member of the American Legion Post 468, ladies auxiliary. Friends may call Monday 2-4 & 7-9 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday 9:30 A.M. at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Avenue. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Barnard Fire Department & Canaseraga Lioness Club, in her memory.
