  1. Dear family of Pat DiRienzo,

My sincere condolences on the sudden death of Pat. I was the Girls’ Principal at Cardinal Mooney when Pat was teaching there. In 1967, Pat treated me to dinner in New York’s airport while I was waiting for my plane to France. We had a great visit on that special occasion. She told me how happy she was in her new work- place and in the city of New York. Her picture looks as if she was still happy when she was called home to heaven. Pat was a lovely lady whom I will never forget with a smile and a prayer.

Be assured of my sympathy at your loss.

    Sister Edwina

  3. I was in the first class to graduate from Cardinal Mooney, and Miss DiRienzo was my Social Studies teacher. She was so enthusiastic, and she was so different from any teacher I had ever had. Having come from a Cathoic grammar school, I had never had a lay teacher before. Miss DiRienzo was pretty and so stylish….I have fond memories of her.

My sincere condolences to her family.

    Patty (DiMauro) Kecskes

Sincerely, Linda (Williams) Cavallaro Class of 1966
