Predeceased by his parents, Joseph & Annie; siblings, Patrick, Thomas, Rachael & Joseph; in-laws, Alice & Frank Scialdone; brother-in-law, Frank Scialdone Jr. Survived by his devoted wife of 49 years, Cindy; son, Martin Jr. (Anna); daughter, Allison (Brian) Morrison; grandchildren, Joseph, Thomas, Miriam, Helen, Edmond & Catherine Bourke, Amber, Bailey & Colleen Morrison; siblings, Michael (Rose) Burke, Peter (Diane) Burke, Gerard (Rose) Bourke, Denis Bourke, Muriel Morgan, Veronica (John) Griffin, Ann (Tony) Mason, Eileen (Ali) Mazroui; sisters-in-law, Madeline (Mickey) McFiggins & Jackie (Ted) Welter; many nieces, nephews and cousins in US and Ireland. Martin was born in Roscrea Burgoo Tipperary, Ireland in 1946. He is a proud Veteran of the United States Marines. He enjoyed spending time with his family and at the cottage. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Martin’s visitation will be held Thursday, July 19th 4-7 PM at Vay-Schleich & Meeson 1075 Long Pond Rd. His mass of Christian burial will be held Friday July 20th 11:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd. Private entombment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Veterans Outreach Center or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in his memory.     We were stunned and very sad to hear about Martin’s passing. To have had so many years together as a loving and beautiful family is a blessing, but it’s never long enough. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I remember my visit to your home with great joy, also the times we met later, he always stayed in contact, was always caring and affectionate to all his family, immediate and extended.
