  1. Dear family,
My condolences to all Lucille’s family on her passing. It has been years since I last saw her, but the Cass name brings back many memories of my late parents Clarence ‘Cap’ and Adrienne Preston always speaking fondly of the folks that had the funeral home on Ridge Road at Stone Rd., decades ago. I recall my brother Eddie and my dad’s funeral there back in 1961 and 1975. Mr and Mrs Cass were always so compassionate and caring at such difficult times in the Preston family. I will be attending the service this morning, perhaps the only Preston to sign the guest book, something hard to believe after the large family here at one time. My wife Pat who passed away just 10 weeks ago would have been at my side, but I am sure she joins us from heaven this morning. Sadly Lucille’s passing takes with her much history of the old family days around here. May the peace of the Lord be with this special lady for eternity. Lucille; thanks for being so kind to my family those many years ago.

  2. Dear Linda, Norm and family,
I have such fond memories of Aunt Lou especially growing up on the farm and our Thanksgivings together with all the aunts, uncles and cousins. Aunt Lou will always be a very special part of our memories as a vibrant, loving lady who loved life and those in her life. She will be sadly missed but in our hearts.
    Love, Susie
