Greece: Saturday, February 21, 2009 at age 83. She is survived by her husband, Stanislaw Palczyk; children, Sabina (Michael) Luciano, Bronislaw (Joan) Palczyk, Elizabeth (Peter) Forte, Richard (Ellen) Palczyk & Natasha (Richard) DiRenzo; grandchildren, Michael, Anthony, Paul (Patti), Christopher (Katie), Erica, Richard (Andrea), Jason (Colleen), Jamie, Kenneth, Joshua, Richard & Katharine; great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jade, Jacob, Nicholas & Rylie; many dear friends.
Friends may call Monday, 4-8 P.M. at Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Tuesday 10 A.M. at Holy Name of Jesus Church, 15 Saint Martin’s Way. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester, 840 University Avenue, Rochester NY 14607 in her memory.

It was an honor and a pleasure to have met Katharina. Just from the short time I spent with her, I could tell that she was a very loving and devoted mother and wife, and she has a wonderful family.
