Greece: Tuesday October 23, 2012 at age 81. Predeceased by her husband, Daniel H. Lyons and son, Larry Lyons. Survived by her loving daughter and son-in-law, Lynne & Thomas Shannon; her grandchildren, Courtney, Candice, Kayleigh, Emily, Grant and Julia; her sisters, Anna Lewis-Ahl and Betty Stidd; her daughter-in-law, Jeanine Lyons; many nieces and nephews. She was a retired physi¬cal education teacher in the City of Rochester and a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #468.
Friends may call Sunday, Octo¬ber 28th, 1-4 at the Vay-Schleich & Meeson Funeral Home, 1075 Long Pond Road, Greece Chapel followed by her Funeral Service in the funeral home chapel at 4 PM. Entombment, Riverside Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, friends wishing may make contributions to the Alzheimer's Association, 435 E. Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620 in her memory.
